This project provides safe drinking water to 2,400 community members since 2015, improving health and access to clean water for both schools and households.

With water now available nearby, the burden on women and girls has been significantly reduced, as they no longer need to spend long hours collecting water. The availability of water within the school compound has also supported the construction of additional classrooms, contributing to an improved learning environment.
The initiative has also strengthened knowledge and practices around personal hygiene, sanitation, and environmental cleanliness among children and community members, resulting in a reduction in water-borne diseases..

Community engagement has been strong throughout the project, with local people contributing both materials and labour to support its achievements.
A Water Management Committee (WMC), established and trained through the initiative, is responsible for the sustainable management of the water system.
